Pure Boundary Home Art Exhibition, an event organized by TRENDSHOME magazine calling for mental serenity and relaxation against the hurly-burly of the outside world opened at China World Mall in Beijing on July 25. In addition to Pure Boundary – Egg of the City, the latest artistic design developed in collaboration with Zhang Ke, Chief Designer of ZAO/standardarchitecture, China’s top furniture CAMERICH unveiled TOPO, an artistic sofa, built on an original idea introduced on last year’s Frontier Concept Show.
Pure Boundary Home Art Exhibition aimed at exploring the best way to meet the mental and physical demands of people, and to provide them with a home, a purified world of their own to shield off the outside hurly-burly, pressure, unforeseeable changes, disturbances and tiring workloads.
2.7m in height and 12 square meters in area, Pure Boundary – Egg of the City was built with 1,680 white PPEC blocks. Transparent and pure, it creates a dream-like world that inspires imagination. In the innocent art space, everything is naturally mysterious and isolated from the outside.
“We want to waken the sleeping mind and help people see their heart with these designs,” said Shirley Wang, Brand Operating Director of CAMERICH, “Only this type of furniture can excel from competition instead of blindly following market trends. It represents a higher state of life, one with a distinct identity and clear direction based on deep consideration.”
With this in mind, CAMERICH has been making breakthroughs along its journey of innovation. The debut of TOPO is another attempt of CAMERICH to turn a concept into reality.
In September 2011, at the CAMERICH Frontier Concept Show in Shanghai New International Expo Center, a set of concept furniture named CANDY FLOSS attracted attention of visitors with its dynamic and delicate design. TOPO was one of this set.
Each time when CAMERICH attends a concept exhibition, it reaps mixed results. Along with recognition, there are a lot of doubts, arguing the worthiness of the rewards for the large amount of time, money and efforts spent. “We believe it is worthwhile and necessary. The concept designs not only help people better understand the brand identity of CAMERICH, but also greatly enhance CAMERICH’s ability to innovate,” said Shirley Wang.
All of CAMERICH’s concept designs represent its deliberation and exploration for life and future trends in the furniture market, which continuously enriching its ideas and designs. The TOPO sofa is the result of such deliberation and exploration. “We believe this is only a beginning. In the future, CAMERICH will present the world more achievements of our brave exploration.”
